Book collection of Matsuo Basho poetry volumes.
Faculty project in which I had to design 3 book covers for a collection of books, the chosen topic was japanese poetry, haiku, by the famous and talented Matsuo Basho.
The cover`s drawings are handmade and the intent was to capture the content and evocative allusions of nature guided by Basho`s lyrics. The approach was abstract, the goal was to create a memory for the reader and to give him some impressions about the content and the traditionalism of Japan, but not to spoil or influence his opinion on the matter of the content.
